With the arrival of October, not only do we have our first snow to contend with, but it would seem that cold and flu germs have started making the rounds as well. When I visit your house for a speech-language pathology session, I usually bring toys and books to use as part of our activities. These materials do get sanitized as much as is possible and practical, however the best way to prevent the spread of germs will be with a hand-washing habit. Please ask, help, or remind your child to was their hands with soap right before seeing me.
As always, there is no charge if you need to cancel a session due to illness, so please use the same criteria you would when deciding whether or not to send your child to school, when deciding whether to keep an appointment with me. Happy fall, and be well!
